About Rachel

Founder of Ingenuity Labs, and one of the more grounded voices working on AI adoption for small business right now.

Rachel Krayenhoff, founder of Ingenuity Labs

Who I am

I've spent my career building startups from the ground up. I've worn every hat in the business along the way: founder, COO, accountant, operator, the everything-in-between. As a woman in the startup world, I've seen firsthand just how much brilliance is still waiting to be unleashed in business, especially by people the tech world wasn't originally built for.

For the past two years, I've been diving deep into AI and how it can be used to build and scale businesses. What started as curiosity became something more. I found a method that gave me more space to lean into my own ingenuity, and I knew I had to share it.

That's why I founded Ingenuity Labs. My work sits at the intersection of operational experience and AI education, helping women entrepreneurs, business owners, and executives find the specific tools and methods that increase their authenticity and free up their time. Every conversation I have comes back to the same belief: AI isn't here to replace your voice. It's here to amplify it.

In practice

Real work, with real organizations.

Rachel's approach: take a messy workflow, describe and document it clearly alongside the people who run it, then teach them the best way to bring AI into it. A few examples of what that's produced:

  • AI Coworking Sessions (Victoria, BC): average participant AI comfort rose from 3.0 to 4.3 out of 5 in a single evening, with a 43% return rate across sessions.
  • Exploration Sites, a Vancouver Island visual storytelling studio serving the global mining industry: mapped their full onboarding-to-task workflow and found the structural fix that unblocked their entire automation build.
  • theFinanceStack, a fractional finance firm: designed and rolled out a standardized meeting, agenda, and issue-escalation system across their controller and DoF teams.

She also co-facilitates the AI Edge Program (aiedge.training) and is a co-lead at AI for Executives with Cynthia, an 8-session live course for C-suite leaders.
